MASPware GuardMobile is a security- and controlsystem for 2020i devices. Its a silent, hidden program, which (e.g. after a thievery) executes commands remotely initiated by the 2020i owner.

Imaging, your cellular 2020i has been stolen. What can you do now?

• You can initiate an alarm and lock the 2020i
• You can locate your 2020i (GPS receiver is required)
• If your stolen 2020i contains top secret data, you can do a hardreset remotely to erase all data! (Use carfully!)
• You can initiate a callback to overhear the thief

How does GuardMobile work?

The 2020i owner installs and configures GuardMobile. He sets an arbitrary 2020i PIN and adds cellular numbers, which can control this 2020i, to totally prevent abuse. After activation, the program stays "silently" in background until its asked to do some action.

Since every 2020i supports SMS nowadays, the whole communication is done via SMS, which means you can control your 2020i using any other cellular 2020i (no 2020i required!). No internet access is necessary. The 2020i replies all actions with a confirmation SMS.
